My story.
My love for photography began in high school with a film camera and hours spent in the darkroom. In 2012 when my oldest son ~ a United States Marine ~ returned from a deployment in Afghanistan, I bought my first digital camera to capture the joy of seeing him for the first time in seven (long!) months. Alas, my passion was reignited! When a friend asked me to take pictures of her family and senior pictures of her daughter, Diane Welter Images was born. To this day, I stay true to my "why" ~ to offer my clients high-quality images with the flexibility to use them as they choose.
I am a natural light photographer and my style is classic, true to color, and timeless. I consider myself a creative, visual storyteller and I delight in capturing life's beautiful moments.
On a personal note, I live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and have been married to my husband George for 39 years. We have three wonderful sons ~ Peter, Will and Jack ~ a beautiful daughter-in-law Taylor, and a furbaby named Beretta.
